Spey Solar farm

A relatively small project completed in July 2017 in the Speyside region of Scotland. A part of the efforts of the largest utility supplier in Scotland to reduce their carbon footprint, the plant is designed to power water pumps that are feeding the local distilleries with which the region is famous.
The site itself has complicated geology and our team had to do a lot or pre-drilling and concreting of the structure, and a great deal of effort was made to protect the soil from chemical contamination from the concrete mix. At the end, we completed the project within the time constraints and to the highest industry standards.
